The differences in each generation is causing serious friction
between each generation at work. Each generation has a unique characteristic
and desires, and may at time cause conflict when faced with the different
desires between the generations.
By understanding the driving factors of each generation and
creating a common platform of understanding, it is possible to bridge the gap
between generations and create a productive working environment while
leveraging on the strengths of each generation.
Objectives
By the end of the course,
participants should be able to:
- Describe
the unique characteristics of each generation.
- List
factors that would create an effective communication platform that bridges
the generation gap
- Describe
stages of conflict and steps to manage conflict through the ADR Approach.
- List the
key factors in making collaboration happen at the workplace.
- Define
group communication and steps to manage to get the intended response.
- Learn and
apply the art of building rapport with colleagues.
Methodology
The
course is delivered via lectures, videos, songs, discussions, role plays and
games to ensure a fully experiential learning.
